I'm a self taught artist from Savannah, Georgia. My work often reflects my take on the coastal Georgia landscape I grew up in. My inspiration almost always comes organically as I start to create. Every blank canvas, every piece of plain fabric, becomes a work of art influenced by my emotional connections of the day. I find solace in nature, my artwork reflects that. Working in paint has taught me it's ok to make mistakes and messes. Working in embroidery has allowed me to convey the textures of every day life and reminded me to not rush through life.
I've been painting since September 2018. I've been embroidering since January 2023. I enjoy learning new skills and occasionally dabble in jewelry stamping, sketchbooking, woodworking and other crafts.
